Our Headteacher

St Benedict’s primary school is managed and sponsored by the Benedictine monks of the prince of peace Tigoni Abbey.

Our school Motto is, “Prayer and Work” . We provide a well-rounded, seamless education with a Benedictine touch. The School is committed to supporting all children to develop their full potential, by treating them with outmost respect , and catering for their particular needs and talents at every stage.

Inspirational teaching, guidance and exceptional care are at the heart of our education process. We have a proud academic record of outstanding examination results and our learners progress well to the next level of their academic journey We offer a holistic approach to education in line Ministry of Education guidelines and in accordance with the rich Benedictine education tradition.

We have a kindergarten as well as a primary school within the same premises. At St Benedict’s, there is a vital focus on personal development, through our outstanding co-curricular programme. St Benedict’s has a distinguished sporting tradition: while many boys and girls train and compete at county and national level, everyone is encouraged to enjoy sport, teamwork and fitness.

1. Pre-School

Pre School entails Playgroup (youngest), PP1 and PP2 pupils in the school. The Play group consists of the youngest pupils in the School. The PP1 consists of pupils with four (4) years of age.

2. Lower Primary

St Benedict primary school is a top catholic school in Kenya.Our lower section has a population of 380 pupils.Our teachers are talented and committed staff who are dedicated to be unique

3. UpperPrimary

The Upper Primary consists of Grade 4.

Then the remaining classes include class 5, 6, 7 and 8

3. Boarding

These consist of students who reside in school during academic term
